Currently, updating a trade’s email address requires reverting the old email, archiving the existing trade profile, and creating a new profile with the updated email. While this ensures system sync between Property Tree and Bricks + Agent, it results in multiple archived profiles over time when a trade changes their email more than once.
This creates challenges for agencies, as invoices, job history, and records tied to the original profile are split across multiple archived profiles, making it harder to track and retrieve information efficiently.
Feedback from users suggests this process feels unnecessarily complex for a simple email update and increases administrative overhead.
We are requesting a review of this workflow to explore whether email addresses can be updated directly on existing trade profiles while maintaining data integrity and system sync, without the need to archive and recreate profiles.
